Things go poorly as Nguyen’s crew overpowers them and Nguyen kills Souther, but not before the latter sends a transmission to all of the ships in the area that Nguyen is conducting an illegal war and that Earth ships should stand down. He’s not sure what to make of it at first, but, after Nguyen wants to fire upon a Martian ship that isn’t firing on them, Souther turns the tables and enacts that members of his crew had been preparing for. It all comes to a head when Souther discreetly receives a transmission from one of the Martian ships with the video that Avasarala gave the Martians. The crew feels it also as some are exploring the possibility of mutiny in the name of Souther.
