With this, you can equip yourself with all sorts of weapons and make them evolve. Gangstar New Orleans OpenWorld boasts hundreds of vehicles and a large arsenal at your disposal. gangster, where you claim a turf to defend it from other gangs. However, as a bonus, the game introduces Turf Wars, a gangster vs. Like the first eight titles, there is a story campaign that tasks you with various missions. This time, it will take you to the city of New Orleans, where you can explore the French quarters, the outskirts, and even the marshy areas. Tl dr: Cuba would be an amazing setting along with Vice City, and this map is in progress, further updates will take some time.Gangstar New Orleans OpenWorld has the same gameplay as its predecessors. I'm thinking of some locations to add, and come up with idea of the Guatomalo military naval Base in the south, can y'all suggest some other places to include, and this will be ready! The main city in the game, Havana, will strongly be based off it’s irl counterpart and have those same Franc-Spanish architecture and vintage cars filling the map. The Pointy peninsula on the west harbors a port, majorly for transportation of the stuff they get from mining in the mine a little on the east There’s an airstrip up north of the mine too, acting as cradle for the imaginary protagonist’s port for transporting crack up in Vice City. Havana, The Capital of Cuba irl, is the main urban setting in this map (although I’ll expand to the east, and add another city too). Vice City is my favorite R* rendition of an irl city, majorly cause I’m one of those 80s stan that never actually existed in those times lol The eastern coast was the hotspot for cartel activities in the US in those times, and Cuba played a pivotal role in that, a small*ss cause for situating my map in Cuba, having a cartel themed storyline. Hey Fellow Mapmakers and anons! After a long break off this thread (and essentially I’ve done nothing yet too I> ), I`m happy with my new WIP so far, Cuba:įor this, I halted onto my previous WIP off west coast, and this’s turning out to be better one of my creations. Thank you one more time for the feedback, it's really important! I'm using GIMP to make my maps, since it was a tool I was already using to make battlemaps to said RPG.

Even though I've studied Louisiana's coast line a lot to kind of make that randomic make resemble something that would fit in there.

So, if I was to say what inspirations I had for this map, I would answer you that it was Mafia 3's New Bourdeaux (since it's one of few southern maps I've seen in games). The overall layout (city limits specially) was taken from this random map the site generated. This map was made on a site that generates randomic city/towns for RPG sessions, primarily for a RPG, themed after the Italian Mafia in the 1950's, I'm DMing for friends - and, now, to a book I'm writing based on the adventures of my friends on this RPG. Well, the only thing I had, initially in mind for this map was that it should be a southern US mid-sized city. An example of this change was Point Verona (it was in the middle of the map, before and now I've put it in the middle, but below the highway): before, it's road layout was similar to the Downtown area, but now it is more like a residential neighborhood - which is what I thought it should be.

I've intended to expand the city and change it's layout a little to: get rid of the repetitiveness and make the neighborhoods more unique/more fitting for it's purpose.
